The University of Wisconsin–Madison Shelter Medicine Program and Dane County Humane Society seek qualified applicants for a one-year Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Internship for graduate veterinarians. There are currently two internship positions available.
The Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Internship position is designed to provide interns with a well-rounded experience in shelter medicine and surgery. The intern will develop their clinical, teaching, and consultation skills. Interns work closely with the UW Shelter Medicine Program team and the DCHS veterinarians and medical staff.
